I am absolutely thrilled to be inviting you to the inaugural HIDEAWAY RETREAT!

Over the course of my last 10 years of musical adventures, some of my most memorable moments of all have taken place within conversations… outside venues, on street corners, in workshops and masterclasses, talking with friends and fellow enthusiasts… about how the language of music works, and how best to play with it.

And now, in 2025, for the first time ever, I’m building and presenting a full program of musical exploration across four days and nights, in the iconic green pastures of Tarrytown, NY (an hour’s drive from New York), this August 11th-14th.

Whatever kind of musician you are – a singer, instrumentalist, songwriter, arranger, producer, mixer, world-builder, or simply a curious human being – consider yourself absolutely welcome.

I’m so excited to take you DEEP inside my brain, and my ideas – to spend some time diving beyond the surface and into the atoms of music, creativity and the magic of what makes us human. From harmony, rhythm, performance, improvisation, composition, songwriting, recording, mixing, to far beyond: Accessing keys that don’t exist… Ancient rhythms that groove… Communal Audience Choir playground… Creative block melters… Atmos experimentation… The music industry… Survival in the wild… and so much more.

Most excitingly of all, I am assembling a star-studded cast of some of my most inspiring comrades who will be joining the fray as instructors, mentors and performers, including some of my most important teachers in my musical development. It’s really going to be special.

It’s a whole new adventure for me, and I’m stratospherically excited about it. I cannot wait to see you there.

MUSIC FANS, PLAYERS, AND ENTHUSIASTS OF ALL AGES, SKILL LEVELS, AND INTERESTS ARE WELCOME!

Jacob Collier’s Hideaway is a 4-day event for musicians and music lovers of all ages, levels, interests, and tastes to explore the creative process and the art of making music. Each day is filled with immersive workshops and activities curated by Jacob and a handpicked group of world-class musicians known as the Faculty. Evenings bring live concerts and open jam sessions, giving you the chance to play, create, collaborate, or just soak it all in. All ages are welcome (participants 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult). Limited to 250 participants, it’s a joy-driven, one-of-a-kind musical retreat you won’t want to miss.

Your Registration Includes:

  • Exclusive, private performances every evening by Jacob and his handpicked Faculty (full lineup to be announced in May)
  • A host of daily masterclasses, conversations and musical activities every day, led by Jacob himself, across a plethora of musical themes
  • Intimate breakout sessions on specific topics, led by Jacob and the Faculty [from true beginner to advanced] on harmony, rhythm, performance, improvisation, composition, songwriting, recording, mixing, and more.
  • 4 nights of accommodation at the historic Tarrytown Estate House in New York’s scenic Hudson Valley
  • One-on-one signing sessions with the Faculty and Jacob

  • Commuter Package

    If you live in the area or have a place to stay near the event and do not need a hotel room at night, this may be for you. It gets you into all activities, workshops, concerts, as well as lunches and dinners – everything except breakfasts and the hotel room at night. Pricing is per person.

  • Solo Package – Shared Bedroom (2 beds)
    2,899

    A registration for one person in a Standard Room with two beds, and shared with a roommate. You may either name a fellow registrant as your roommate or one will be assigned by Dreamcatcher Events. Roommate matches are based on age and gender. If signing up with a roommate in mind, please enter their name in the “Roommate” field as you continue registration. Roommate must also register for Jacob Collier’s Hideaway. Pricing is per person.

  • Solo Package – Single Room (1 bed)

    Standard Room with one large bed for one person – with all activities and meals included. Pricing is per person.

Installment Payment Plans

Upon checkout, you have the option to pay in full, or one 33% installment with two additional installment dates. Upon registration, a non-refundable deposit of 33% of the total purchase amount is charged to your credit card. The remaining balance will be automatically charged to the credit card on file on May 1, 2025 and July 1, 2025.

Pricing and Registration Policy

  • Registration & Payments
    • All rates are per-person, unless stated otherwise.
    • All prices are listed in US dollars and subject to change. Prior sales excluded. Dreamcatcher Events reserves the right to change any price, package or offering at any time without prior notice.
    • All rates are subject to 11.9% surcharge, which includes state and local taxes plus service fees.
  • Cancellations
    • All payments and deposits are final and non-refundable unless you enroll in the Active Cancellation Insurance program. The Active Cancellation Insurance program is a program that will enable you to receive a full refund should you cancel your registration for any reason as long as you file your claim no less than 48 hours before the event.
    • To enroll in this program, you can purchase the Insurance at check out. The cost to consumers is 20% of the cart total after any discounts have been applied. It will clearly spell out the amount in dollars it will cost at the time of checkout.
    • Active Refund is only available to those in the United States, Canada, France, Switzerland, Germany, United Kingdom, Australia or New Zealand. Anyone registering outside of those countries will need to purchase trip cancellation insurance from a 3rd party of their choice.
